Chris Oyakhilome: Biography of the President of Christ Embassy Church Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a pastor, television host and author. He is also the President of Believers' LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International. Chris Oyakhilome Background Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 th of December 1973 to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Oyakhilome Family Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school. After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got a BSc. in Architecture. The Reverend Chris was before married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children. Chris Oyakhilome Minister While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into the ministry. At the time the Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC). YFC was quickly growing and soon was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld now has millions of associates and followers across the world. Through the 2002 atmosphere of miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry. They stopped airing the programme in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria - President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on television. Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four parts including publishing ministry for healing the sick, teaching ministry for television, and television ministry for television ministry. The foundation recognizes, celebrates and encourages young African leaders who have made a positive contribution to their generation. They accomplish this through education and empowerment of youth, mentorship and mentorship . The foundation acknowledges the work of these young leaders through an award ceremony dubbed The Future Africa Leaders' Award. This award ceremony that began five years ago takes place on the first day of each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja. The children who are in need of assistance are supported by the foundation through participatory interventions that incorporate family strengthening programmes as and child development programs. Trauma Care International Foundation The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to improve health and life expectancy for local communities. They also promote improved emergency response services when there are emergencies or accidents. The foundation has been established to help national policies regarding trauma care through advocacy, health education in the community, community-based programs and advocacy. More than a thousand people were given first aid, safety and emergency response training through the foundation. The foundation has also trained more than 1,000 instructors, law enforcement officers caregivers, road transportation employees. Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC) The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a worldwide church that provides medical and aid for those internally displaced or are refugees from regions affected by natural or human-made disasters. The outreach team includes paramedicsand students, and Christian workers from across the world. These volunteers offer medical care, emergency relief and sustainable health solutions to communities and regions that are in need. VMC also provides local health services and training to health workers. VMC outreach is open to everyone whose primary objective is to improve the health of the poor and to offer humanitarian aid. Bible For All Nation Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a non-profit christian organisation, which is dedicated to the development, production and distribution worldwide of the Bible to all individuals of all ages and genders in the language and format they understand. This ministry helps people discover God's Word, and his life-changing message. BFAM has provided hundreds of Rhapsody Bibles free of charge to people in prisons, hospitals, communities, and government institutions across the world. The countries that have received the Bibles comprise Nigeria, Gambia Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. Through a network of Bible publishers and volunteers from all over the world, this outreach was possible.
